Melissa and Tommy: The Wedding

You may remember Melissa and Tommy's engagement pictures from a couple of weeks ago. They were married this past weekend at Garden of Dreams in Sparta. If anyone is looking for a gorgeous outdoor venue, this is IT! These two are such a fun couple, easygoing - and the most perfect match!! We had an amazing time photographing their wedding. My sister-in-law, April Turner (www.uturnstudios.com) came along with me on this one. She got some amazing shots as well (note the handsome little guy in the ivory tux).

Cassie and Brandon

Wow! What a fun wedding! I got to photograph Cassie and Brandon's wedding in St. Louis this past weekend. It was amazing... Cassie is a graphic artist and extremely creative. She designed a logo and put it on all of their stationery - invitations, programs, etc. She even painted it on the aisle runner, it was so beautiful. They pledged their lives to each other at Jefferson Barracks in a Friday evening ceremony. There was a breeze, and the site overlooked the Mississippi River; it was so obvious how much they love each other!! Then after the wedding we were off to DeSoto, MO for an awesome reception.Congratulations, guys - I wish you all the best!

Amy and Gary

This one is a little out of order, but here are a few shots of Amy and Gary's wedding. They were so sweet and nice to work with! They vowed to spend the rest of their lives together at Faith Tabernacle in Springfield on August 27 in a gorgeous Monday evening ceremony. Congratulations Amy and Gary!!

Melissa, Tommy and Lily

I met Melissa and Tommy at the Japanese Gardens last Thursday for an engagement / family shoot with their cutie pie Lily. We got some great shots, and Lily was so good! I have never seen such a content little baby. Tommy and Melissa will be getting married at Garden of Dreams in Sparta Sept. 22, and I think it will be absolutely beautiful!!

Trash the Dress!!

I am sooooo excited to announce Trash the Dress Sessions! These are post-wedding bridal sessions for brides who don't mind getting their dress a little dirty (or you could purchase a discounted dress just for this purpose!) Keep in mind, the amount of dirt on your dress is completely up to you :) I will be booking a limited number of these sessions between now and the end of October. Kirstie

I met Kirstie at Sequiota Park in Springfield for some fun outdoor shots, then we headed back to the studio to get some by the pond and inside. Kirstie was so nice to work with - we had a great time! And yes... those curls are natural - I am so jealous!! Thanks Kirstie!

What a C-U-T-I-E!
